Course Description

This course includes 6 modules as an introduction to domestic violence. The modules are designed to teach students about the types of domestic violence, recognizing warning signs, and discovering ways Community Health Workers can help those affected. Students will also learn both the legal and the healthcare system’s responses to domestic violence, how OUDs/SUDs can be involved in domestic abuse, and how families and youth could be impacted.
